Evaluate & Diagnose

Conduct clinical intake assessments using GolfRx-provided tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, burnout screening). Establish diagnosis and determine whether GolfRx is appropriate for the client’s treatment plan.

Build the Treatment Plan

IWrite a personalized GolfRx treatment plan using our clinical templates – if client opts in to more support. Set therapeutic goals, prescribe specific modules and golf-based activities, and generate the Letter of Medical Necessity.

Oversee & Adjust

Review client progress reports, round reflections, and outcome data in your therapist portal. Adjust treatment plans as needed. Optional direct sessions when the client needs more support.

Refer New Clients

Refer clients who would benefit from GolfRx — both from your existing caseload and new clients matched to you by GolfRx. Every active referred client generates recurring revenue for you.

Not at all. GolfRx is a mental health program that uses golf as the therapeutic vehicle — your role is as a clinician, not a golf instructor. The program materials handle all golf-specific guidance. Your expertise is in the clinical assessment, treatment planning, and outcome monitoring.

The GolfRx program is designed to be low-touch by default. After the initial assessment session (approximately 45–60 minutes), ongoing oversight involves reviewing client portal data and round reflections — typically 15–20 minutes per client per month. Optional direct sessions can be added at your discretion. Most partner therapists manage their GolfRx caseload in a few hours per week.

Yes — this is one of the most common ways therapists use GolfRx. If you have existing clients who would benefit from a structured outdoor therapy adjunct, you can prescribe GolfRx as part of their current treatment plan. We provide everything needed to integrate it: clinical templates, module access, documentation, and an LMN you co-sign.

You practice within your existing license and scope — GolfRx does not expand or alter your licensure in any way. The program is used as a structured adjunct to standard mental health care, similar to any prescribed therapeutic activity. Most therapists complete onboarding within 2–3 business days of approval. The application takes about 10 minutes. We review credentials, match you to available spots in your state, and schedule your onboarding session. You can be seeing your first GolfRx client within a week of applying.
