How is GolfRx tax deductible?

GolfRx may be tax deductible if it’s part of a recommended treatment plan for a diagnosed medical condition. Because our program combines structured mental health support with therapeutic golf activities, many members can pay for their membership using HSA or FSA funds , or claim it as a medical expense on their taxes — just like other health-related services. To qualify, you typically need: ✔ A diagnosed condition (such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc.) ✔ A recommendation from a licensed therapist or medical provider ✔ Documentation that GolfRx is part of your treatment plan We’ll help guide you through the process and provide the paperwork you may need. What happens after I sign up?

After enrolling, we’ll assign you to a licensed therapist based on your state. You’ll get a welcome email, access to your program portal, and the forms needed to get started right away.

What if I want to change or cancel my plan?

No problem — just email our support team, and we’ll make the change for you. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. There’s no long-term commitment.

Do you cover the cost of tee times?

We don’t directly book or pay for tee times, but we do provide a flat monthly reimbursement based on the membership level you choose. This reimbursement is designed to cover therapeutic golf activities , which can include tee times, range sessions, golf lessons, or other golf-related expenses that support your mental health and wellness. It’s a simple, flexible way to help make golf part of your care plan — you decide how to use it.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for GolfRx?

Yes. GolfRx is a therapist-led mental health program, which qualifies for reimbursement through most Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). You pay the membership, then submit to your HSA/FSA provider for reimbursement.

How does payment work for the GolfRx program?

You pay a monthly membership fee directly to GolfRx for your selected plan. After you enroll, you can submit for reimbursement through your HSA/FSA, and we’ll also reimburse you separately for golf activities depending on your reimbursement level you chose.
